CBT Online using Zoom- Therapy where ever you are in the world
Online CBT is a very easy and secure way of carrying out therapy without having to attend the clinic. I have found it to be an effective way of delivering CBT and research backs this up. It shows the results from online CBT is similar to face to face therapy. I have used it for: • people whose problems meant they were not able to leave home • people who live to far away. E.g. Therapy via Zoom is very similar to a session at the clinic. If you have never used video conferencing like this don’t worry. It is very easy to use. In the clinic I use a whiteboard to illustrate how your mind is working and online I am able to share these images with you. You will then get a copy of these to keep so you can go over them later. If you don’t want to use this method I also treat some clients by phone. This can also be an effective way of carrying out treatment |
